Are they about the same size? Has anyone done a mod?

Wow, I kinda doubt it. The STI is based on the impreza. The Baja's based on the Legacy - two very different platforms.

I'm gonna say no. Completely different shape and completely different mounting.

Hmmmm I say yes.
I think I have seen it done, and back when I had a 98 impreza I put some 96 or so legacy seats in it. Subarus are built like legos ![]() Oh... duh re-read... Fronts fit, rears wont (didnt see REAR specified) Last edited by Flowmastered87GL; 04-19-2009 at 12:25 AM. |

Baja seats have the whole flip up and fold flat deal. The STI does not fold and mounts differently. However a wagon rear seat may fit, but that would eliminate the sti now wouldn't it?

Have the original rear seat re-upholstered. It will fit and as long as the upholstery shop does quality work it will match.

Even if the upholstery shop is excellent, finding the blue STi fabric and matching STi trim is very difficult. I am going to looking into this some more because I really like the STi look.
