Question stage one Cobb Tuning mods

I have a MY 2002 Impreza with an auto trans. Been thinking about getting the stage one mods Cob tuning recommends. Has anyone done this series of mods?? Any reports on power gains?? Any thoughts on problems you have had?? It is a lot of money...$835.00 plus shipping..but is it worth the money?
Thanks for you help on this guys.

Jim

Almost the same purchase price. Might make up the difference in the shipping. Brullen ships from canada. Cobb is in TX.

COBB Intake $270 + $13 shipping
Brullen Catback $540 + $45 shipping

(~$810 + $58 shipping) vs (Stage One $835 + (?)shipping)

(~$990 + shipping) vs ($835 + shipping)
Cobb's package doesn't have the underdrive pulley AFAIR...

So try ~$770 vs ~$835...

You right, no pulley in stage one. I will edit the above post. I got the prices off imprezars.com.

So it is more like $810 vs $835.

I have the COBB stage 1 on my 02RS. The First thing you will notice is the sound , The most beautiful thing . I did notice a little loss down low, but nothing much. Up high I can defiantly feel the difference as it pulls harder in 4th and 5th gear. I think It was said that the combo would give you around 20hp. Overall I am very satisfied with it, now im just waiting for the COBB headers to come out.

Please donít pay someone to do this, its so easy its not even funny. The major thing is getting the car up to put the midpipe on which is just TWO bolts and a couple of hangers which are nothing. Id say the intake is more complicated then the exhaust if I would even call it complicated. Both only took a half an hour each including resetting the battery while I was doing it.

If you dont have a jack and jack stands you could probably buy them both and still be cheaper then having someone put them on.
