I have a F1 racing 12lb. FW in my car. I would suggest getting at least a 15lb fw. I am using the stock pulley and not getting any misfire CEL's.

josh,
I just asked them about the F1 racing flywheel (12.55 lbs). What do you think of the quality and performance? It looks nice with a little bearing pre-installed...
They are not sure about 05/06/07 fitment though. Please give some feedback. Thanks.

I cant remember what I paid for the kit. Came with 12lb fw and heavy duty clutch kit. IIRC, it was about $350 or so shipped.

I was going to have to buy a clutch kit for my wrx trans. anyway, I figured an extra $180 or so would be well spent then instead of later on when I "wanted" a lw flywheel.

If your situation is similar, then go for it. But I reccommend a 15lb flywheel instead of the 12 lb. As far as the quality, I cant complain. It bolted right in, looked great, came with everything I needed/wanted and hasnt given my any trouble at all.

We shall see how the "heavy duty clutch" holds up to forced induction, when I get around to it.

i've been holding off on the lw flywheel cause i don't want CELs flashing all the time. i think there's a good chance it will set off misfire codes.
