Was this at high altitude? Usually those things spool 500 rpms sooner than that on a 2.5.

i asked for a nice smooth powerband and more top end without power spikes (for the track days...my old 20G hit like the car got ass ended but was so hard to drive at about 3000 rpm because eveytime the car spooled it would unsettle...not good in turns.)....trust me it feels like it spools faster on the street....car runs great!

ps...listen to the car in the video...its nice and smooth and making more power and torque than pretty much anyone ive seen with the DOM3
This dyno is a mustang... no inflated numbers here just the real deal. 402 on pump no meth is pretty good IMHO. some guys in the DOM3 thread wanted to see one on race gas well here it is.

no need to get defensive, I was just curious. The boost does roll up slowly, but that produces a smooth, non-violent powerband, good for road racing. this should be a fun car on the track!

thanks!
i wanted cams but ran out of funds...sucks.
i woulda run this on E85 but E85 just isnt that popular here yet (suprisingly) in Tacoma...i think there are stations that support it near here but not enough to justify my switching over....now if i only lived in portland!

Good luck with your build

Well, this is something you should confirm. Was the engine swapped along with 2.5L's ECU? If not you won't have AVCS (and you're not running a standalone).
