Unhappy Choke Problem with my RS

I have a question about my 1998 Impreza 2.5 RS. Today i noticed my oil light came on so i checked my oil. When i checked it, it was totally dry. So I immediatly filled it with oil. Then when I was driving it today, I noticed if I kept a steady speed in 2nd or third gear, my car jerks, kinda chokes, by itself. I just cleaned my air filter so it can't be that. I am running a Weapon-R Hyper intake with a K&N filter. Could that be making my car jerk by itself? That is really the only engine mod that I did. I also have a Borla cat-back, but I don't think that is effecting anything. Do you have any suggestions on things that I can do or what is happening to my car?

thanks
-Ryan

I think maybe you should figure out why your oil was all gone first..

Just a thought!
