question: 6speed into v6 sti-ra

can i use my sti rear axles and hubs and brakes when im planning to put a 04-05 sti 6speed gearbox into 00 v6 sti type-ra jdm ???

there are a lot of threads about wrx´s but i havent found a thread about 6speed going into gc8 sti.

and also what about front axles

assuming you have a v.6 r180 rear end it should work

use the 04-05 tranny,clutch,flywheel,drive shaft and rear diff and..
the v.6 rear axle and hub

if its an early 6 speed (has stubs for axles) you should be able to use your v.6 axles
if not (no axel stub) use 05+wagon front axles
or if you can add axle stubs but it requires taking apart the tranny

Subaru sells just the stub axle that goes from the CV to the diff...its a cheap part. The stub is part number 38415AA110 and the circlip is part number 805329010.
The stubs slide into the diff and secure with the circlip. Your CV's line up like normal, roll pin and all.

No need to do an axle swap.

I'm also not sure if the Ver5/6 RA had the same R180 flange bolt spacing as the later R180's. If not you can use an automatic driveshaft without an issue.
