Default Top Feed or Side Feed Rail/Injectors

I have an 05 STI and I am starting to piece together some upgrades. First thing I want to get together is my fuel system. However I am not sure What would be better, top feed or side feed Rail/injectors. I am not looking to have some retarded amount of hp. I am looking close to the 400-450 range. Is there a preference over either? I believe my sti has the side feed. I know if I go the other way I have to change everything over which isn't a problem. Currently the car is stock but I have a Helix UP and DP, AEM SRI, HKS Hi-Power CB, and the Cobb Stage 2 Maps which will all be installed at the same time once I am finished getting everything together.

Sop my question is, apart from changing everything is there really any difference, especially in performance from one to the other? Would I be better off going with the top feed or side feed? Thanks

You can make that kind of power with side feeds. But depending on the dyno, the biggest side feed injectors (850cc is the biggest I have seen, there maybe some slighly bigger) will be close to maxed out with that kind of power. Add meth injection and you will be safe for sure. Keep in mind, it all depends on the dyno you are using to measure the hp...

Wrong forum though. Should be in 2.5L Powertrain. And you should talk to your tuner or shop, maybe DSG based on your location.
