if i missed some thing let me know cause it almost sounds like a good deal.

so for $4400 you get a

transmission-$2500 (ussally comes with wireharness, crossmember, starter what ever clutch was on it.
drive shaft, diff and axels-$600
all hubs/knuckels-$500
spidder dccd controller $120
4 brembos with rotors pads-$1000
8 bbs rims-$700 a pair($1400 and most come with good tires)
megan coil overs-worth what ever you can get for them.(for space filling $400)
aluminium shift piece-$60

so the part thats good $5780 worth of stuff for $4400 nice.

bad part is: what about the value of the 06 wrx parts?

trans-1000
diff, axels, drive shaft-500
hubs-400
brakes rotors pads-950
stock 06 wrx rims-500
stock suspension-250

$3150 donated?

so does that make it 4400 + 3150 =$7550

$7550 for eveything. + shipping and handdling of course. is the buyer expected to pay for the shipping there and back? thats an additional $800 for S&H

Ok, I consider myself a pretty fair person. But 2k for a serious upgrade plus extras? I'm gonna have to say "No".

@mikeis300 - It's a dual mode controller with STi thumbwheel, so I was thinking $280~$300, also the control arms @ $340 for the pair. You're close to what I had figured the package to be worth (just north of 6k). I put a WRX package at $2350 going by personal experience of a full WRX swap into a GC. Shipping it would be about less, so the buyer would pay the difference of what I paid and we'd arrange through the same shipping company (which I didn't put).

Alright, for those that are interested, toss some offers and let's see what happens. I want to make this THE swap package that makes people jealous and the buyer happy.

well i was doing some inventory and i do believe i have all the parts you would need to do a swapp. if you run low on time i could help you get the 2006 parts you would need and you could sell your sti drivetrain after installing the wrx drivetrain. either way you'll still come out with a profit.

i might be interested in a trade as well, but the 2005 sti trany isn't as well sought after as the 2007 for the new gear ratio, or the 2006 with the added yaws system.

I was feeling the torque split on the 05. Also, it was complete .
