Default random tech not available anywhere!??!?!

ultrarev.com no longer shows a listing for our cat-back exhaust!!1 and just when I am able to afford one...

does anyone know of another place (except for xxcelleration pay through your A) to get the random technology cat back exhaust for the baja turbo!??!?!

SOOO, maybe I should just get a DP and do the rest custom and have it coated so it dont rust up here in SALTmont...

someone please remind me what CATTED downpipes fit? I was looking at an INVIDIA for a wrx/sti... $450ish shipped...

I'd contact them by phone. They may not have stock but might be able to special order or point you in the right direction/their supplier. I was able to get sway bars that way.

I just called random technology. They said that ultrarev wasnt selling them anymore. They also said that xccelleration was the ONLY supplier now. I then said "then why was ultrarev only charging $560-ish and xcelleration was charging $899 for the same part."

no answer, we will have to call you back.

xccelleration called me back. They claimed that they are no longer selling them for $899 and now they are available for $725. BUT, they will charge for the drop ship from RT AND

AND

3% creditcard processing fees.

so for the cost of them doing business, a fee NO OTHER place I have dealt with has charged me, they will be charging an extra $21.75~ dollars.

anyone have any other alternatives other than custom?

I'm not a fan of hidden fees, but they could have told you it was $746.75 off the bat. If it were me, I'd buy through xcceleration for being up front about the CC fee.

When I put on the sway bars, I didn't have anything other than my Amex. The joint Visa would have ruined the surprise gift. They took it since I had nothing else, but mentioned they were being killed by the fees. In hindsight, I would have paid them the difference in fees in cash.

Edit: looks like xcelleration was the primary engineer for the thing

u may be able to cut the legacy exhaust b/c there is a cross-member in the way. the exhaust has a bend for a reason.

xcceleration is the only one that makes the exhaust. u can get a good 20HP from the catback and near 40HP with the full TBE. it is expensive, but it is a unique part for a unique car. although the CBE is expensive itself, i would go with it b/c there will be no problems and there is a 5yr factory warranty.
