I don't think there are any "chips" for a N/A motor.

All a "chip" does I think is increase air/fuel ratio and increase timing which results in crappy gas mileage and no noticeable difference in performance, maybe even a turn for the worst.

Your best bet for N/A is a MSD coil pack, hybrid (or short ram) intake setup, free flowing exhaust no bigger than 2.25" (2.5" max), headers (EL or UEL), synthetic oil, lightweight crank pulley/flywheel and routine maintenance is about all you're gonna do on the cheap.

After purchasing said "chips", make sure you get "headers"

Honestly though, you'd want to look into an i-speed reflash. They take your stock ecu and re-flash it. http://store.crawfordperformance.com...categories/249

I'd make an intake, get an ebay replica borla header, cat-delete pipe, lightweight crank pulley and catback exhaust first before getting a re-flash. Also look into suspension mods. You're really not going to make the N/A motor "fast", but you can easily make the car more fun to drive with wheel, tire, brake, and suspension upgrades.

(Equal length) headers are gonna give you the biggest gains you'll see without doing big engine work.

Most significant HP gains: I-Speed reflash, OBX EL headers, spicy cams
Gains (non-HP): lightweight flywheel, lightweight pulleys, weight reduction
