Default WTB: used 17" R-comps, ASAP!
looking for 17" R-comps; 245/40/17 in a sticky compound (A6, V710 or similar) Let me know what you've got!

EDIT: i picked up a set of 225 R6s to hold me over but would still like something wider and stickier.

not R-comps, but I have some Falken Azenis RT-615 in 225/45/17 tires that are pretty much at the wear bar. You take them if you want.

define "take them"....
think I could get a track day out of 'em? or are they heat-cycled to death?

Do you have any track experience? A lot of groups don't let beginners run on anything but street tires.

uh....azenis are street tires, dunk.
I was looking for the R-comps for Autox; but since he mentioned the azenis, I do also need some sticky road rubber for an HPDE this year.

Sorry, That was more directed to your initial post about looking for some r-comps. Not quite sure why I quoted the above. . Anyways, if you've never done an HPDE before I recommend not using r-comps. You'll learn a lot more on a set of street tires.

I know. I may never have done an HPDE, but that doesnt mean I haven't done my homework.

Anyway, still need Rcomps for autox......and sticky street rubber for HPDE

BUMP - picked up a set of 225 wide R6s from xenonk , but..

would still like to find a set in a 245 width AND a softer compound. Anyone??

I have a set of 500mile used RT615's 255/40-17. You mentioned HPDE or street tires. They have never been tracked, heat cycled. They have gone from IAG to Middle River Maryland 4 round trips and 1 trip to Arundel Mills Mall. ~500 miles.

appreciate the offer, but I'm really looking for Rcomps right now. I'm not sure the HPDE is going to happen this season.
