Default FS: Wingless trunk feeler

Ok guys heres the deal. I bought a psm wingless trunk, with intention of sanding it down and painting it myself. I did everything perfect, primed it, sprayed the white, and 2 coats of clear and it was looking perfect. Then I wetsanded and sprayed one more coat of clear on it, and the clear completely ruined the whole project and dried a sickly gross yellow color

So im thinking of just biting the bullet and buying a new wingless trunk and having it painted profesionally. So if anyone has a paint hookup, or can paint a trunk by themself, this would be a great deal.

Heres a few pics of the trunk after the 2 coats of GOOD clear coat were sprayed:

And for more pics of the process if interested, heres my thread I made about painting it:

I dont know why you dont just sand it down and do it again, that paint you have couldnt have costed more then 20 bucks, and you could just have someone clear coat it for you....

i wish i could waste money by just "buying a new one"

I was very happy with it, untill I used the second can of clearcoat which clearly had something wrong with it...

And I weighed out my costs, I think I'm just going to get this one painted
