As I am about to say again. Doesn't the APD have anything better to do like look for real crime. I bet you the majority of the stops will be for tint and lights. Useless motherf******s!!

When are they going to open up a track on saturdays, close of a section of road??? Anyone have a petition going around for that???? How about the end of Raspberry where it runs under Minnesota?? It's a perfect 1/4 mile there, from the end west to the light... if they would close that off to only people who want to compete, then they wouldn't have to go through the trouble of training moving targets to patrol the 'strip'....

...... jk about the targets... though i know some people who feel that way

Thumbs down

you should see where the cops hide at on minnesota. theres this bridge next to the AS&G construction place and theres a little merging lane. the cops hide right behind the bridge where you can't see them. a guy was tryin to race me with his truck, so he took off to get me to follow, but guess who took off after him

I wonder, if we could show there is MAJOR support for fri/sat night drags.....if we could get the track people to do it? I don't know of anyone every trying hard to push it with them, other than suggesting it.

I bet if we showed them hard numbers, they might just be willing to keep that thing open later at night on weekends for night races....then again, I don't remember seeing lights there

Going west from old seward right?? Yeah that place--- scary to drive by even at a legal speed... I always manage to get pulled over for something... last time I went to court with a speeding ticket, (remember that minnesota speed trap last fall..?), and the officer was like 'oh yeah, you're the one with that red S-10'....... it's good that they recognize it (yeah.. right.. ) ...

Could be a good idea, we should send someone to talk to the track people and see if we can push for it...can't hurt.

And the lighting issue, they will just have to wait till it stays light till 2am or whatever

I'll be out there on the 12th (that's when it opens i hear...?), even though i've got the vehicle that would be better off towing cars then racing cars... Could probably talk with them then.... as far as the lighting goes, night racing with poor visibility is the best racing.... Yeah good thought, 2am...

They'd love to i'm sure... all of the stickers, wings and lights crowd -- Just gotta make sure there's no one with a monster truck running down the sides.... fiberglass everywhere, HID conversion headlights pointing all directions, neon bulbs sitting broken on the ground....

Not all the snow and ICe is gone and the Cops are out in force . Don't these guys have better things to do. I hate it when they ride your A**.
Last summer I had one following me so close that I couldn't see his bumper. So I tapped on the brakes, he pulled me over and asked me why I did that. He got mad when i told him to go and read the book about the 2 second rule. He let me go when I asked for his badge number moron :monkey:

Default badge number.. haha

Yeah the H4 conversion actually works pretty good.... Adds some class to an already incredibly classy and luxurious truck ( )

I need to get a new lens for one side, I was impersonating a police officer and tailgating someone right after I merged onto Minnesota earlier, and caught a rock I've had them for about 3 months and only one bulb has burnt out so far, due to someone touching the bulb... But yeah they're good, seperates it a little from the other S-10's out there, plus it's got a parking light built into the housing for the red/white/blue effect in the front... it looks pretty good, i'll get pics sometime...

No, I don't mean race at 2am, just mean it's light out till 2am mid-summer hehe. I would say start at 8 or 9pm, and go till 12am or so.

I was thinking about getting the H4 conversion for my car, looks better than the basic lights......and cheaper as long as the lens' don't break

Get the H4 conversions cuz they really make a difference in the light choices you can get. Lots of different types of bulbs with lots of different power watts. I had them on mah old Prelude.

I have them in my truck, that'll even it out?? I keep meaning to grab a set of those purple H4's just to see what they look like.. I agree though, lots of options. My first set was 60/55w Wagners.... came with the lights, they were good, but now I have some 100/80w toucans that you can see power up & down when you switch the lights, $45 but that's Safe & Sound pricing..........
