Question Problem with Magnecor's ?

Okay, so I'm driving to work this morning. I'm gong up hill, and I notice my engine starting to studder. Hmm....this seems odd. It stops then i continue on my way. Concerned, I decide to drive some more, seeing if I can recreate the problem. I turn around, go back up the hill...then it happens again. My engine starts to shudder. My CEL flashes. By the time I'm starting to pull over, the CEL turns off. I pop my hood, and the wires on the passenger side (where the connect to the plug) are like 1/2 in. out of the hole? ***? I made sure i pressed VERY hard when I put those on, (last week).

Does anybody else have this problem? My brother said he used to run Magnecor's but switched to MSD, because they didn't fit right and would come out while he drove. Any suggestions to alleviate this problem?

PS i did a search already. There is just too much info!

Thanks!

Mine used to do it until I used the end of a ratchet to press them on.
Push as hard as you need to till you hear an audible "click", then you know its on there. Take your battery if you need to to get extra leverage.

The battery and if you can, the windshield washer fluid reservoir. That'll give you plenty of extra space to move around there. You can unbolt the tank without disconnecting it, it's up to you. That'll give you plenty of room to get the wires properly seated.
