Default CEL? Help me out please.

Problem solved. Please Delete.

I just installed a turbo back exhaust for a 02-07 wrx (rocket rally downpipe and apexi n1 all catless) and an LC-1 Innovate at the same time on my 1993 WRX. I couldn't reuse the stock oxygen sensor because I couldn't get it out so I wired in my LC-1 and sent the hooked the narrowband immitator wire up to the oxygen sensor wire. The car runs great, but a light came on on my dash that looks like a catalytic converter with heat waves coming off of it. What does it mean? It's not my check engine light because I have a "check engine" light.

It's your cat overheat light.

I think that's probably what you just hooked your wideband up to.

The O2 is hidden in the front header somewhere, the sensor in the exhaust is the cat temp sensor. There is a plug up by the turbo where you can cleanly unplug it without causing any issues.

That makes much more sense. I thought that was the weirdest looking O2 sensor I'd ever seen. Or I guess,... ever hadn't seen because I couldn't get it out. Thanks rockcrete.
