For the problem with the headlight and CEL troubles happening at the same time I would guess the trouble is with a connector in the engine compartment. It sounds to me there are some connections in it. Try pulling the main connectors apart and reconnecting them to see if that will help.

For the solenoid issue it sounds like the trouble is with whatever the solenoid is controlling, not the solenoid itself.

ive checked the connectors and there ok. wiring diagram does not show solenoid having anything to do with headlamp which boggles me. what does the boost control solenoid control so i can track that down??

The headlights don't have anything to do with the solenoid but the two circuits very well may pass through the same connector somewhere. I don't know how you checked the connectors. If you just looked at them and saw they were connected that isn't good enough if that is the trouble. They have to be seperated and reconnected to make the connection better. The same goes for the grounds. They can look ok but still not make a good connection. The wire needs to be removed and the surface areas cleaned.

I think the boost solenoid controls the amout of air getting to the turbo.

Default Big problem with my 03 STI

Suddenly the engine with humbling a couple of times and the car was making too much boost.... not boost cutting as usual. and 3 codes is in the ECU.... p0123 throttle position circuit high input, p0118 engine coolant input too high and p0244 wastegate solenoid range input high. something like that

There has never been any problem in the last two years... Only mods are exhaurst system, manifold and decat downpipe. And it has been runing great until this problem suddenly has appeared.

Really hope anyone can help me or has a clue?

Here in Denmark there is not driving a lot of Subarus, so there is no a lot of experts to help

Why did you bump a two-year-old thread in the wrong forum to post this?
Also I see you crossposted the same thing in a few different places, that is not permitted here.
