Default Do I attatch engine hoist to alternator bracket?

I am removing my transmission, and from what I read once it is removed the engine will tilt forward. They said to use scissor jack and a block of wood to hold it steady, but I have an engine hoist so I am going to use that. On the alternator, there is a little bracket with a hole in it, is that for the hook on the engine hoist?

I am NOT removing the engine, I just need to hold it steady while I remove the transmission.

Thanks.

I've pulled the engine using that bracket. It'll take it. Hell, a midget could lift that motor out of the car with no help. You're good to go.
