Default 3days later and the Tein s-techs are on!

yes i got the teins a last week and tried to install them

the first bolt that me and BURNOUT tried to unbolt was imposibble to take off, so took it to a local tire place where a friend works....we concluded that the bolt ahd seized up, we tried breaker bars like 5 foot ones, impact wrench, etc, it wouldnt budge he almost put the torch on it but they were out of gas to use. well he tries the impact wrench on the highest setting one more time and bammmmm it came off everyone was supprised the bolt didnt break, those things are strong as hell!

anyways

thanks to BURNOUT for the help installing them.
finally installed them last night at midnight. we started in the afternoon, and it took a little while, not as long as it took to put the 5zigen on my old 98 rs, but on the 00rs i have it didnt take as long.

well review time, havnt gotten an alignment yet, but its handles a hella lot better than when i had the 5zigen on my old car, id highly recomend them over the 5zigen.

i love the progressive rates, there realy soft just riding down the road, but when you turn sharp and fast you can feel when the springs compress to the higher spring rates, i love it....

well im gona go get some grub and be back with more feedback on the springs

late

Greg

Default

i got the softs from german-autowerks.com

they are awesome cant explain it any better
especially the price, with the stock springs my car felt like it would do a wheelie off the line now it feels like it Tucks and squats and just goessssssssssssssss....love it

the drop is about 2inch, i think its perfect, but then again i have
205/50/16 tires, the teins are made for 205/50/16, if you look on the instructions that are written in japanese, it has the specs for a gc8, states -30mm drop in the front and rear, and it says somethign about 205/50/16, i know thats what the wrx in japan sports on teh stock 16's
i didnt want the wheel-tuck look, and thats what i dont have, i thought it was gona be that low but its not, it takes away the wheel gap perfectly, pics will be up soon

anyways i would highly recomend these, i dont even feel like i need to buy the whitline anti-lift kit because now my car just squats and goes
