Default Full 04 to 06 sti Engine swap??

Just a really quick question is it possible to do a complete engine swap from a 04 sti to a 06 sti, would everything line up. The reason is I canít pass up the price and love my 06 more than the 04 car and donít need both.

The 04 sti is a complete short block cosworth engine with head work, Perrin short ram intake, bigger TMI, Dom 3, inlet tube, the engine has almost all work done to it.

thanks

I am getting ready to drop an 06 engine into an 04, and I was wondering the same thing. I am having a hard time finding info on this.

Swapped my '06 sti motor into my '04 sti this last weekend. Everything appeared to be the same, it started right up and ran normally. I have not driven it much, but it seems allright.
