Default What is a 98 Rs worth these days

Some lady is selling one near my house and I am so tempted to snag it it has 125k miles and they ask 6500 on the add

A simple kelly blue book search puts the price at around 4k for excellent condition.

i know the kbb price is down low, but what ive heard from alot of guys is that the price is actually going up because most people that have the gc models turn into rally cars and trash the poor things so if you can find a decent one still its a rare find.. i could be wrong but thats what ive been hearing.

well i don't really want to pay 6k for it haha Ima print out the KBB and negotiate some we'll see!

Would take me back to my 1st subaru 98 black RS damn good car! and back to my old problems 98 engine sucks!

Can check Edmunds too, generally seems a bit more realistic then KBB...as well as Auto Trader to see what most are going for, high, low, average pricing.
