Default Strut Tower Issues. any suggestions?

i am not sure if this has ever happened to someone in a subie, but my rear strut tower has snapped earlier in the past. i had to get it welded to get rid of it. an now as it seems that the problem is re occurring. i was wondering if after your strut tower is snapped is there no way to fix it permanently? what should i do next to keep it from happening again? should i just get a strut bar, would it help? thanks any suggestion would be great. the welding costed 300 bucks. trying not to spend soo much

how the hell did you do that? letting us know how you broke your strut tower may clue us in to a possible solution.

well. im lookin for a suggestion to fix it or to reinforce it. i was jst driving and started to hear bottle crunching noises in the back. took it to the shop, told me it was broke.. welded it and thats about it. i dunno wat more information i can really provide but that it is broken. fixed it and now its making noises again. soo the question was.. once its damaged can it never be truely fixed again? wat are the long term effects? that would help.

Take it to a real body shop and they can fix it or they'll tell you the car's unsafe to drive and won't even try.

I've seen it happen before when a guy ran over some crazy potholes. The top of the strut tower came off, bent coilovers and lateral links as well.

^ replace the stars with the common curse word that starts with F and ends in K with U C in the middle.

Did you follow the instructions? The links don't work unless you hand edit them to add everyone's favorite F word. They're working for me.

if it looks like those pictures it can be fixed with some steel plate welded on the inside of the passenger compartment to strengthen it. Kinda hard to fit all that under the trim and seats of a daily driver, better turn it into a rally car now

You've given us nothing to work with. The answer is to take it to a body shop and let them fix it. You can't even describe what's wrong with the car so, how can you expect anyone to have real advice?

I have never seen unibody damage of this sort on such a new car unless it was wrecked or jumped or was bad from the factory

I'd personally not try to recreate stunts from Transporter 1 or 2 and that should solve your problems in the future.
