went to the track on sat night, weather was really nice and i finally got a good time to be proud of. with the 30r 110 leaded and meth on a 2.5 with weisco pistons

the only problem i am having is i am at the top of 5th gear and i really dont want to have to shift to sixth. sometimes i wish i had a ppg 5 speed

Great times, same kit here, stock clutch and block tho, 11.4 @127 on a bad 60 ft of 1.75, an earlier run I got a 1.601 and missed a shift (which screwed the rest of the run up) I know what you mean about not wanting to shift to 6th, but you have to, to get a good trap, 5th's mph will rev out already before you get to the 1/4, I also got kicked out my final 11.4 run, but was pissed because I know it could have done better with that previous 60', I used C-16 on 27psi, car makes 485whp/497tq on HB Speed dyno. Doesnt read as high as a dynojet

should have gone with a 07 sti trans, you would have been in gears 1-4 instead your having to worry about 6th gear

yeah i got the tranny in 05 so didnt really have that option
