I received a nice little magazine from Subaru in the mail today. It's a little blurb about the WRC efforts of Subaru last year, this year, and some highlights on the history and the current drivers. I thought it was pretty cool. Just wanted to share and see if anyone else got this thing.

Is it called "Drive"? When you buy a Subaru you get it for I'm not sure how long. The recent issue has a section of WRX and Subie clothing that's pretty neat. The pictures are pretty decent. I like car magazines better, though. Drive is like "We're a bunch of happy, smiling people" like whoa, what have you been sniffing?

Jeep has a similar "we're cool" magazine too. Whatever.. sometimes there is interesting stuff in it that wouldn't get covered in a normal car mag.

The clothing catalog inside is sweet. I've got the gold fleece zip-up, and the royal windbreaker.

You get that magazine for a very long time. We have been getting it for awhile now, seems like 10 years although it probably hasnt even been around that long. So sad, I'm only 20 and my memory is already starting to fail me

I must be the only person that thought that Drive was a decent magazine. Maybe I was just bored, but I read quite a bit of it.

'Drive' isn't the magazine he's talking about. It's a very nicely done history of Subaru's involvement in rally racing called 'Subaru WRC: Great Challenge'. I got mine today, and it looks like it'll be a good read.

'Drive' is, I believe, printed quarterly. So if you bought your car back in December and haven't gotten it yet, you should be getting one soon. If you changed your address since you bought it, though, they may not have your new address. As was said above, it is mostly filled with testaments to how great Subaru is. Sometimes they have nifty tech info. For instance, back in '99, when they updated the 4EAT, they put in a very detailed article about how it works.

yeah I got the wrc book the other day. I thought it was a nice gesture. the drive book was pretty stale and on par with AAA's magazine/newspaper.

I got my rs in Dec and still have not recieved any magazines of any kind. Are they only sent out to people in the States. Is there an address to order them from SOA if that is the case. I heard they have some new posters as well.
