Default bumper repair?

Has anyone ever use a bumper repair business to repair and paint a bumper? If so how did it turn out? And who did you use? My fiance bumped a truck with a hitch and it cracked her bumper. Looking into options to fix it.

Honestly man Repair is going to be difficult on the poly urethane bumper. I personally just replaced my bumper wich was close to 200 bucks from the dealer with some nice discounts. Then I paid a shop to paint it. They did an excelent shop especially considering my car is OBP(one of the hardest colors to match). Its called Collision Center of Arrowhead on 83rd ave just north of Union Hills in Peoria. They are a little pricey but well worth it. You will be looking at close to 700 out the door.

OBP isnt hard to match if you know what youre doing. i had to repaint my rear bumper OBP and my dad got the match right on the very first try no issues

but yeah there is probably no real way to fix that without a lot of labor. itll be easier to just get another one and have it painted

Thanks for the replies. The care is a 2009 toyota corolla. new bumper cover from toyota is $236... I know somebody in toyota parts dept. that said he can get me a better price. I'm not sure how much paint will be. The bumper repair company told me he would charge me $275 to plastic weld the crack, and repaint it. I'm concerned with how well it will come out and how good of a paint job he can do. He says it'll look good as new but who know how long the paint job will hold up.
Any other input would be great.

Just replace the bumper man... Plastic welding is a pain in the butt to do, and with with something plastic that moves around alot, it would crack sooner or later. Just spend the extra money on a brand new bumper, or call around and try to find a good used one. If you call any local bodyshop, ask for the parts dept or someone that can help you with parts and they can track you down a good used one. Then have it painted from there... Nooooo way anyone can fix that crack, and make it hold up for a long period of time.
