I have a broken R160 at home.
This was mated to my 05 sti trans.
My tuner installed this to work with 05 sti 6speed tranny.
This broke when I didn't have dccd controller.
can you put this diff into my broken R160?

So I hate to let everyone down, but I have to pull out of this GB. I found a smokin deal on a lightly used Kaaz that I absolutely couldn't pass up. Good luck to everyone else.

Nice, I always like seeing more beefed up parts being developed for our cars. Good Job.

I'm installing an 04 JDM STI 6spd into my wagon with an r160 I got in the deal (3.90 gears) so I could keep my 4/2 pot brakes and 5x100 STI wheels. Would this work with my setup? I just picked up a RAW track series motor and heads with a PE1825f clone which should see about 400whp/450wtq and I need durability.

Chrisarella & lemon19mmm- Yes this would work for that.

^ There should be a 3.90 pinion or else something would have broke as soon as the car started moving.

Bump for update. OP Last edited by DS1 Motorsports; 07-07-2009 at 12:27 PM. I believe you should have a few more names to add to that lists.

Question, was your estimates of 1-2 months posted on 7/7 so we'd get something by 9/7 the latest? Or can we see something sooner? I ask because track season is over here in the north east in October and I was hoping to be able to flog the hell out of my car before that.

jonpark- you have a 3:90 so this would work for you. PM me for pricing on both.

chrisarella- We still don't have enough guys At this point I would probably say sometime late Oct. or early Nov. at best.

UPDATE: I created two new threads. One here on NASIOC:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1809563

...and another one on my local Long Island Subaru Club forum here:
http://www.longislandsubaruclub.com/...ad.php?t=46059

I think no one knows about this being an option and put this out there to generate some awareness (and interest).

I bumped my threads. Still waiting for peope willing to wait for a better priced LSD over the way-more-expensive Carbonetics and Quaife LSDs.
