Default TXS Stage 2/91 Unichip boost levels?

I've had my TXS stage 2 installed for a couple moths but never really tested the boost levels untill today. Max boost in 4th was a tad over 15psi. Instructions state that it should be 16.5. Is the lower boost level a part of the 91 octane package for cali customers? Should I just turn the ABC to 16.5? I just want to make sure. Thanks.

I am running the 91 Stage 2 chip with the ABC all the way closed and am getting 16.5 peak.

Elevation effects you boost level, but you are in LA which is pretty close to sea level. I would give TXS a call, they could probably give you a quick answer.

per the brochure the max boost should be for stage II:

4th gear 3.5k rpm 16.5psi
5th gear 3.5k rpm around 17psi

I had TXS stage II and I had the ABC off and I would not get more that around 15psi. I put in the ABC and had it completely down and I would get the above speced psi. I am guessing that their map includes the ABC as part of the equation.

Cheers

Nick

Just spoke to Mark at TXS:
He says that with the weather getting warmer it will lower the boost level. I asked if 5F would be enough. He says yes and it would be safe to turn it up to 16.5.

Any other guys noticing the boost drop with the warmer weather? (SO CAL preffered to compare numbers)

It's a known fact that boost drops in warmer weather. That's why a mbc will not give you consistent results and needs to be adjusted quite frequently.

Does and EBC have this problem also? I would guess no, but want to make sure.
