Default Problem with my head light

Lately when im driving around my driver side head light will not quite go out but go to a real dim amber color. I hit the headlight and it will flick back on to normal. I have bulbs that i got off ebay is this my problem or is it something to do with the wiring?

Bad bulbs most likely but if you're hitting it and it comes back on you might have a loose connection at the bulb? Check that and if so trash em and go to autozone and pick up some stockers... osram or sylvania just not the silverstars.

yeah ebay bulbs suck. either the filament itself is broken and makes contact when u hit it, or they melted your factory wiring.

either way ditch the crap bulbs and get some OEMs

The headlight socket contacts are bad. You should replace the socket.
