Why not just try and fab up a Hybrid intake with the parts from a cheap ebay one? a couple house clamps and 1 or 2 cuts and vol-la you have what is arguably the the best intake for a NA car.

I don't have any yet thats what they're tryin to do. The only real problem with the 05-07 is the MAF sensor fitting the adapter and the filter being able to clear the manifold and other stuff under the hood; basically the length of the adapter all the hoses fit fairly easy with a lil extra hose and some clips

I just heard back from Cosmo today and they dont have anything that could fit the sensor. They're lookin at about roughly two months before the part is complete. I know it's long but since the intake will bump me classes, not to worried about it and it still quite possibly could be the first.

its on and well... its a short ram intake. Plain and simple. Gain - who knows maybe a little, sound - a little if ya step on it. Difficulty - ha buy this stuff first -> better clamps(4) then those stock nasties and some extra hose if ya don't got it lyin around. I bought about 3ft of 5/8 and clamps for $7 at autozone.

Did you read the sticky at the top of this forum about MAF-based intake system mods?

If not, I'd peruse that before getting too excited about the CAI.

The one in the link is for 2008/09 2.5i 's only. They also have a CAI available. It fits i promise Im away from home at the moment but i'll throw up pics when i return if anyone wants em.

is it long enough to bolt to the stock airbox if you don't use the filter?

Here is a pic of the 08'+ Impreza 2.5i CAI supplied by Cosmo, although that doesn't look like an 08+ engine bay... (note the belt guard)
EDIT: I somehow managed to write something very illiterate above, good thing I fixed that

Here is the link to the page:

http://www.cosmoracing.com/productin...d=150&pid=1949

I am also interested in this, as long as it doesn't cause any problems like basically every intake for an N/A Subie haha

I don't mean to hassle you..but are you sure there's no problems when you are at full throttle around 1.5k RPM? because I'm pretty sure that's been the issue for all NA intakes
