2.5 DOHC to SOHC swap

I crashed my forester approximately 6 months ago. I stripped all of the parts from it and they are all laying in the garage. It has a SOHC 2.5 in it and I was wondering what the process is to swap a DOHC to SOHC. I have the wiring harness and everything, I'm just curious to see if I use the wiring harness if it is plug and play or what the process if to achieve this is.

You're going to have to be a bit more clear with what's going on here if you want us to help you. For starters, what car are you trying to install your old SOHC Forester Ej25 into?
