Default JDM projectors Hids and high beams!

i just got the jdm hid projectors and could not find oem ballast so i ran with a aftermarket kit 4300k and wired them in and wired in my 9005 high beems but when i use my highs my Hids turn off is there a way that i can run both togeather ????


let me know if theres a way to do this

That harness will let your HIDs stay on when your high beams are on but if your lights are off and you pull back on the selector switch to flash your high beams on and off like to pass someone, the HIDs and highs will both flash. This is terrible for the HID components. It won't hurt newer OEM ballasts but cheap kit ballasts will probably hate this. OEM or aftermarket bulbs both will be killed quickly doing this.

To fix this route a wire from the 85 ground terminal on the top relay (the one used for the low beams), to the inside of the steering column and wire it into the headlight switch directly. Do not ground it like the diagram shows. You will need two small diodes to do this. Here is a thread about what to do with some pics.
