I have a stock 04 5mt late model w/ ~35K on it, in my garage ready to go. Never dragged, tracked, rallied. Had Rallispec build me a special one to do that to...

800 bux firm.

Worked flawlessly when i pulled it out in 06. Replaced it with a spec built tranny from rallispec.

Looks like every other 5mt tranny, but this one has smurf blood (Redline shock proof) leaking out of it is bottom.... But it is a late model 04, do you know what half shafts you have?

I also have completely rebuilt (by DSG) 03 5mt w/ new wider gears, bearings, etc. Done over in Dec w/ no miles on it, but that will cost ya 1,400 bux.

Both are in my garage, neither have pink triangles on'm...

Every tranny that has had gear box fluid in, and that is not in an installed state, leaks.

If reinstalled correctly it is not prone to leaking.

Not necesssarily...this is why i noted its a late 04. Do some research on 04 gear boxes and when they changed over to/from stub axles.

Not a nightmare to change one end of your half shaft but know what scheme your gear box came with. Generally speaking, if you bought your 04 new before Feb04 its older style, after that new style.

Who are you planning to have install it?
