Default Lunde's Wagon "STi" MY04

Hi guys!

First off, English is not my native language so dont pay attention to my grammar

About a week ago I purchased my fourth turbo Scooby and I'm planning on keeping this one for a long time! Previously I've had an JDM WRX Wagon MY97 (engine swap), slightly modified WRX Wagon MY03 and an JDM STi MY97 w/JDM 6MT DCCD.

Its been three, almost four, years since my last turbo Scooby and I when I saw the ad for this Wagon, I just had to get it! And what a drive it is!
This Wagon is just absolutely fantastic to drive on Norwegian winter roads with tons of grip and no understeer, just traction
In 2012/2013, the owner wanted to make a Wagon STi version8 like Subaru should have done. After he blew the original WRX engine, he set off his conversion, and ended up with this EJ207 hybrid. If I'm not mistaken, MD321h was the first turbo being fitted and dyno'd. Though, it didn't give the quick spool up or usability on the road that he wanted, which lead him down the path to twin scroll with VF36 which is the setup it runs today!
There's only one "downside" too this car, the fact that it is blue. My previous new-age wagon in Black Mica is an absolutely beautiful color, but I'll get over it

For now, I have few future plans for this car, simply because it's just a great setup for me. Not to mention all the good care it's been given over the years.
Though, there are some things that needs to be looked at and fixed, like worn shocks, oem watertemp gauge acting weird and a clutch pedal with a bad attitude.

I'll post the spec list along with a couple of photos and as soon as I get to my own pics, I'll load them up for you too watch PS: The extra Hella lights are long gone, thank god..

It all depends what kind of setup you will run the VF36 with really. Are you planning more mods or stock. I wouldnt recommend the stock option, though.
The power in my car is said to be around 300hp, but with out any dyno charts to back this up, its hard to say. Compared to my previous MY97 JDM STi (stock 280hp) it feels more powerful even with a exhaust leak. And from what I found when looking at different websites and forum, 300-330hp seems like the most common output with VF36, atleast with similar mods.
The tuner who tuned my car is known for tuning Scooby and tune them safely.

I plan a 2.2 Litre Stroker engine, Closed deck block, JUN Camshafts.
Wanna look what is possible with a good mapping

Cool! Should be a fun GC8
The VF36 will probably be your limit regarding max power output, as this doesnt give more power than 320ish, but it should be very quick a good daily driver for sure. And thats my goal on a DD, not heaps of power high up with slow spool up. My black 03 WRX Wagon had a slow spool up and it wasnt that fun to drive before it got some revs.

Its close to two weeks since I brought this baby home and I'm loving it more and more! The AP suretrack diff and antiliftkit (which I believe have the most impact on this car corner handlings), just blows my mind going around slippery winter roads! Making my smile going from ear to ear.
My first upgrade is sitting in my friends garage, as we speak, waiting for me having the time to put it in, An JDM 6MT w/DCCD hopefully this gearbox will suit my car perfectly
