You can't win a championship if you're team can't figure out a way to get you out from behind a slower car lap after lap after lap. So frustrating!

Hmmm I 2 had similar questions in my head... but my doubt was more on the driver than the team

Josef Newgarden. I think he lives in Nashville.

I've had a thought about it, and I'm pretty sure it's just Bernie being Bernie. Think about it. Andretti Green would do well to finish in the top 10 in A1GP, what makes them think they can do a serious job in F1? The only reason they'd do this would be to get Danica and Marco on the grid, land a bunch of sponsors and hope that it gets them somewhere. Maybe they've talked to Bernie, but I don't think they're serious about wanting to join.

Then you've got Penske, and while that makes a ton of sense in that Penske is the best America has professionally, he did just give up on ALMS for Grand Am because of money. If it was truly the shot at the 24 hours of Le Mans that he really wanted, I'm sure that he could have made the list for a privateer R10, and done a great job of running it.

Beyond that, NHL I can't see, unless Doornbos can bring some big sponsorship with him, Ganassi isn't an idiot and knows he has a great thing going in NASCAR and the IRL, anybody in NASCAR that could do it would be retarded to give up what they already have. I guess TRG could get rid of all their projects and maybe come up with enough to get started, but I doubt it. Is Gerry Forsythe doing anything right now?
Thank you for the correct answer..... my bet is on Penske.... the thought of Danica in an F1 car is nauseating.

i feel like this is goin to be the most ongoing question in my head. Why is it that Bourdais cant get it together? Obviously excluding this race. But his driving career is very very impressive outside of F1.

Any watch the GP2 race how about Pastor Maldonado very impressive driving

I feel the same way about Castroneves if it's Penske. Is it possible for a racing driver to be just too damn positive?

Sadly I think it's the oversteery nature of the new cars that's doing in poor Bourdais. He's just not happy in a twitchy car. I know he wasn't really to blame for running into his teammate in Spain but damn... timing couldn't have been worse.

Have a look at the on board shot from Hamiltom.
Bourdais was the only guy getting back on the gas, when the accident was unfolding.
Everyone else around him seem to be slowing down.

General feeling is that Truli should have got off the gas and not tried to recover the car.
ie let it go into the wall instead of trying to recover and ending back up on the track.

I wish Toyota's crew would stop making stupid strategy changes mid race--its killing them....Ferrari is all but dead this year, KERS never seems to work for the whole race. To the comments about Brawn being hacks....FYI:Russ Brawn did a very large part in developing FERRARI cars, before he left to field his own team and look at who the joke is on now...Ferrari sucks this year.

Maybe Rosberg shouldn't have ran him off the damn road and caused the whole thing.

She can't do any worse than the 'multiple champion' Bourdais. He's really showed what a joke Champ car was.

A 110lbs Danica would have plenty of ballast to move around the car.

If Bourdais were to come back to AOWR, he'd destroy the competition. He put away Graham Rahal and Graham has won a race and two poles since, in a team that just recently got a car to match the competition.

Does that mean Sebastian Buemi would also 'destroy the competition'? Because he's doing better than Bourdais in his rookie year. All the rookies spank Bourdais LOL. I wonder if Bourdais displays adds '17th Place in F1' medal next to his 4 Champ car trophies?

You're forgetting one thing. He's used to AOWR. He's better suited for those cars. Besides, he did pretty good last year. Everybody has bad years, this is probably just a bad phase. What's your deal? Did he not let you touch his tra-la-la?

Did pretty good? By whose standards? Getting out-qualified by a rookie in the same car 16-2 is not pretty good, it's very bad.

I have nothing personal against him, I just think he's a mediocre no-talent, Sato was no different, and Piquet is heading the same way.

Piquet's never shown any talent in an F1 car though. At least Bourdais has been up there.

He nearly finished 4th in a year old chassis in his first race. And Vettel was not a rookie. He had more races and more races at STR. Obviously he's not Vettel, but he's also no Sutil, Fisi, Nakajima, or Piquet, either. He's not hopeless, and he made Vettel look pretty bad earlier last year when Vettel couldn't finish a race.

I have a feeling Bourdais would run laps around Danica even Sutil probably would, Piquet definitely would until he went off a couple of times. Hell she's not even competitive in Indy. Whats the best she's placed in a season 6th?

Having Danica drive would make the new American team seem like a joke IMO.

Hey guys if you go to the F1 website Peter Windsor is talking about Josef Newgarden .....

What if A.J. and Josef got the call that would be really great..... would A.J. leave Nascar though?

Lets go Lewis!!!!!

i have faith in bourdais guys regardless he would out pace everyone on this forum! I will prob never say that an F1 driver lacks talent bc none of them do! some are are just alot better than others.

Ferg: i agree this dudes timing is horrible i would just really like to see him do well.

We're not professional drivers though

A.J. wouldn't leave NASCAR I don't think, he's already throw out a lot of his career by going there, why quit halfway through?

Piquet is a midel of the pack F1 driver even if he was in a better car.

I think SeaBass is similar, If he was in a better car he would do better or a car that is more matching his set up preference. May be a border line.

I think there are two catagories of F1 drives.

1. Drivers that can adapt to any car and make a bad Cr look good: Lewis, Alonso, maybe Vettel

2. Drivers that need a good car to look good and even maybe they can compete. I almost think Kimi fits into this category but in his case it mental or just being lazy. :Nakajima, Fisiche' it kills me I like Fisichella too.

Its an oversimplification.

As you should. I am going to drum up some biz but I think going to a few parties and watching a little F1 race will be a nice bonus.

I will have some VERY cool photos when I get back. I know a few people in the F1 world so a little access will be granted.

Uh, if you look carefully Kimi was the best thing that happened to Sutil. Sutil wasn't gonna make the corner anyway.
