Default Need help with exhaust selection

I am looking to upgrade my stock exaust.
I would like to get a cat back that is fairly loud(enough to set off an alarm in a parking garage) and that has the most performance gain.
I would also like it to be dual tip, but ill accept anything.
I know this is the ideal dream but i dont want it to cost an arm and a leg.
Just toss out all the ideas you can think of and ill research them.

If you can, tell me where to buy it (especially a shop in canada if there is one, so i can save on shipping and duty)

PS: I have an 01 RS, and i did a search and came up with 700 or so hits, so i didn't want to sift through them.

Your best bet is the Stromung. They have a single and dual tip models. I suggest paying a little more and getting the SS. I've heard the non-SS has had some rusting problem. As far as canada goes, can't help you there.

I've heard that even the Stainless ones rust if you're not in a dry climate.

I've set off a couple of alarms in parking garages with my Brospeed... but I think that was a fluke.

I REALLY like the way the borla sounds with the headers. I also like the sound of the Scoobysport.

another option is the Brullen dual tip w/ the extra loud option then i'm pretty sure that you can set off the alarms!

Where in Canada are you?

West coast there's Technik Motorwerks, PDM Racing, Bavaria Car Studio, A&J Racing...Alberta there's Ion as mentioned above, over on the East there's plenty I believe...Lachute Subaru for one I keep hearing about...and the Toronto Subaru Club has deals with a lot of tuners too, you might want to give them a shout.

Props to iON Performance. My Medium sound cat-back portion is pretty damn loud, but the loud will be LOUD! On my Butt-Dyno I've noticed it pulls alot quicker to redline in the higher gears, and in 1st I floor it and I'm already hitting the rev-limiter It has a great sound, a low rumble at idle, and it sounds like a race car while driving. I've noticed at cruising speed, around 2-3k revs, it actually gets really quiet, as if the car was in neutral almost, so highway driving shouldn't be annoying. Thanks again iON, and I'll post a big review of the whole system when I get the headers in tomorrow.
