Default Another one of those what times would I get with these mods questions

Hey all. well the search function never really works in this type of question due to the vast combinations of mods. So being that I have not been to the track with my car, I was wondering what kind of 1/4 AND 0-60 times I could feasibly get with my mods assumming I am a good launcher, etc. Please someone give me a round idea as it's hard to get to a track around where I am. Thanks very very much in advance.

Mods (all on MY98 RS):
-N1 pulley set
-Ganzflow intake
-borla header & cat-back
-Jc Sports (subyraicng/larry ganz) TEC-II chip
-Kartboy Short shifter
-ACT Clutch
-Cobb Mild cams

Thanks!

-Ripper

I didn't know JC Sports dealt with the TEC-II? Do you mean the torque chip?

If not, cool! How hard was it do get your TEC-II driveability good? (i.e. no stalls, and sputters) I have been looking at the tec-ii in a NA application...

they don't deal with tec-ii. he meant tc2, by jcsports, or subysports and also manufactured by proecm. otherwise known as the torque chip.

I am guessing mid 14's. but if you add flywheel and a hiflow cat then you will probably be in low 14's. not sure really

I thought the general consensus was you needed head work to get into the low 14's? unless your running nitrous.

Yeah to clear that up it is the torque chip. So low-mid 14's is achievable eh? Great !

ProECM LLC does not have anything to do with former JC sports, not the company or the people previously hired by JS sports. The ProECM powerchip is a totally different product, developed and manufactured by ProECM. As I have said so many times before, please stay proefessional.

there is no way you can get in to low 14's with those mods.
you probably have about 190hp @ engine, at best.
so that would get you close to 14.9-14.8

Question 1320 times?

Hey guys, if you actually *read* my post than you will clearly see I did not say he will be in the low 14's. I said maybe with the addition of flywheel and hiflow cat. he could probably use a better intake like the cobb too. also, It depends on how good of a driver he is and how much weight he removes from the car.

who knows, anything is possible?

sorry Proecm for the misconception.
cvcsmkr, he probably could do better than that.
but, maybe I am just giving him too much credit.

I think cobb's car with head's, cam, and bolt-ons was mid-14's. I think low to mid 14's would be VERY optimistic to say the least with basic bolt-ons and flywheel unless one of those bolt-ons was a 50 shot of Nitrous

You should run high 14's most likely with what you have. maybe mid 14's if you launch extraordinarly well, etc, etc. But probably high 14's As for 0-60 Just guessing since there are alot less data points to work with but 6-6.5 seconds. The RS tends to have a fast low end and other cars with similar 1/4 times (high 14's) can achieve mid 6 second 0-60

edit: I have similar mods
