Pretty low miles for an 03. Maybe a blown motor before? Also has been fairly modded so if you cant find the owner on here or another site where the history can be confirmed, I would pass.

It's not an STI. There are no USDM 2003 STI's. It looks like he just did some STI part swapping and is trying to fool someone. It's not right hand drive so it's not JDM. I'd passon it since it's obvious he's either A) stupid enough to believe he bought/has a 2003 STI or B) trying to intentionally be misleading.

I've seen this car on craigslist before, but it was a while ago.

Yup, it's a bust. If it were RHD it would be interesting, but it's not. It still might be cool if he has an STI motor and drive train, but I seriously doubt he does.

How do you know Brock? Have you been out to a SanTan Meet?

looks fine as an 03 "stage 4" wrx..Since it was tuned at MZM, anyone interested should check out the TXIC forum to dig up some history.

from the looks of the TMIC, the red appears too bright to be even a JDM TMIC if the seller was even trying to imply that it is an STi...only thing Jdm about it is the pinks.

lol, the responses in here thus far make roflcopter...

Scksuabby88, go check out this car, keep researching. The mods listed are very tasteful, with the exception maybe being the wheels. Low miles and the car is super clean looking.

I'd give it a shot.

I'd go slap the guy who posted the ad. I hate when people intentionally (or ignorantly) post incorrect information about the car they are selling (i.e. 2003 WRX STi, or a 240sx that says "JDM silvia RHD 1989 240sx")...

Funny thing - today when I went through the drive thru at Chic-Fil-A I pull up and the guy goes "Nice car bro is it the STi?" and I said "nah it's a 2002 WRX. The STi came out in 2004 in the US", and he said "Bro I saw a silver 2003 STi on craigslist just like this car though"

I just stared blankly, knowing of said car, and said "hmm it must be from Japan then..." and he said "Yeah it's turbo and everything"
