Wanted: Web Media Intern for Rally Team

Our Team: NCRALLY has been running events in the US since 1999 and currently runs an Open Class Subaru Impreza. The team is based in Glen Cove, Long Island at North Coast Subaru.

Our Goal: Full digital media coverage of the team's entry in STPR, including video, photo and text updates from the event using mediums such as a blog, YouTube and Twitter. To support this we are looking to create a professional new portal at www.ncrally.com with a new site to host team information and blog style updates.

Qualifications: Candidates must have experience with the above mediums, plus strong HTML, Flash and other web development skills, graphics and design experience (logos, banners, etc.), and the ability to integrate and troubleshoot. Candidates must also be experienced with rally and able to work closely with the team during a fast paced event, familiarity with STPR is a plus. You must also provide links to live website examples of your professional work. Being located close to North Coast in Glen Cove is a big plus.

Responsibilities: Create and manage the website, integrate it with twitter and youtube, post pre-event press releases, etc. At the event, manage the in-car cameras (GoPro), write and post updates, upload and post videos and pictures. You won't have much time to do your own shooting at the event, and will be based in the service park most of the time.

Compensation: You will get a free ride to STPR, food and hotel covered, with a great fun professional team, and great discounts on genuine Subaru and STi parts.

Timeframe: Need to start work on the site right away, setup and test updates in all mediums, etc, under firm deadlines. Leave for the event as early as Tuesday June 2nd, returning June 7th.

So - the candidate gets to totally redo your website to create a new portal and cover STPR, and they get a free trip to STPR?
