Subaru Stars Wtb engine stock

I need a motor for my forester it's a 1998. I bought it for $200.00 about a year ago with no motor. I wanted to do a swap maybe ej20 or ej25 but to be honest I'm tired of looking at the car. So I'm looking for a good running motor preferably what belongs in there for cheap. I live in south jersey, Vineland 08360 closer the better.

Still waiting for a reply myself^. But honestly I'd rather keep it simple just get the stock engine back in there.

I'll give you $250 for the car.

As for engines, check www.car-part.com, ebay, craigslist. Call up some of the shops in the area that do swaps as they may have the original N/A engines lying around from installing the turbo'd engine. Try Precision, Area1320, Broken Motorsports, East Coast Swappers, etc. N/A motors usually go in the $3-500 range. For your 98, you need a DOHC engine though, tougher to find, but you can use older 2.2l engines instead as they are easier to find/cheaper.

Thanks il check out some of your references but sorry the car is not for sale. I have been checking eBay and craigslist but I feel safer buying from my friends on nasioc.
