Doesn't Splinter has a VF24? They all have similar outputs.

isn't the VF24 older? how often do these things need rebuilding?

they can't really be rebuilt, you want a low mileage one if you can, but Splinters a good guy so you wont get any bull**** or cover up from him.
PM him and find out about the 24, it's a nice turbo.

does anyone know how it compares to the vf39... in spool and top end?

I'm searching through the turbo faq now

vf34 looks nice too

i am thinking of VF48 possibly, review on it seems really good. it's almost the same as 18G but of course at high end 18G is better.
