I'm interested in the TD05 18G but I'm not sure how it differs from the regular tried and tested product. The description seems a bit contradictory. Also can it be had with the 8cm housing and how much?
Read it again and I think it means instead of the TD06 turbine housing it's a TD05. Is that right? What is this likely to do to performance?

Hi guys. Iíve got an IHI vf36 twin scroll turbo that had some work done to it by Crucial (ported, polished, coated housings, and upgraded wastegate actuator) which I bought off someone here with low miles on it and I was looking to upgrade the compressor wheel before it goes into my car. Iíve been told I could add either a Mitsubishi wheel (18g/20g) or a Garrett GT wheel (GT2871 or GT3037). This turbo is going in a 2003 WRX with a fully balanced and blueprinted RAW Performance 2.5L motor with all forged internals and stage 3 heads. All supporting mods will be in place regarding fuel and air, so no worries there. I am basically looking to keep the great spool characteristics but still be able to hit 325-350 whp. It hit 300 whp with a stock ej257 2.5L and a vf37 so my thinking is that upgrading the wheel in combo with the new motor/heads should easily get me to my goal.
Iím looking to have you do the work but have a few questions:
- What is your turnaround time for this service?
- All things being equal, what are the different results I can expect from each of the different wheel upgrade options?
- What are the costs?
Iím in NY. The car is in my shop and the turbo is out of the car so I can ship it out ASAP. My new motor and heads are being built right now, they should be finished by Thursday and back in my hands mid next week. While everything was out of the car I figured Iíd try to get my turbo upgraded at the same time but I realize this is super short notice. Sorry, this all unfolded very fast after blowing my last STI motor and turbo recently. I understand you might not be able to help me out but I would really appreciate it if you could squeeze me in if possible.
I realize you're closed on Fridays and are probably busy but I've emailed twice and left a few [hone messages already. Can someone please get back to me as soon as possible?
