I'm the event chair so I'm thinking I should probably show up. I'll be running in STS (L?), staying at the campground across the street from the site.

If you're wondering, "where the F is Romulus, NY?," which is a perfectly valid question, click below for tons of local info on Google Maps:

It's hiding behind an ice cream cone in the map

I'm looking at the campground reservations for the weekend and Loop 6 (non-electric sites) is pretty much wide open -- other than Site 305. Is that anyone on here? I usually stay right around there and I'm in the "slightly noisy" crowd. Just thought I'd ask before we move in next door.

Well, that's not me. My "prissy" self will be staying at a roach infested motel in the Geneva, NY area!

I'll be there in my RS. I shouldn't be too hard to find, look for the non-Honda ST entrants.

Planning on trying out the camping thing at Sampson with some friends. Should be fun!

Dude, you know you want to come to Finger Lakes. I won't make it to Peru. ;-)

As such, if anyone wants to co-drive my car in FSP, please contact me out-of-this-thread.

I was wrong about which loop we're in, apparently we're in the Party Loop...#5 instead of Loop 3.

I have the "Kensington Green" room at Yale Manor if anyone wants to split hotel costs:

http://www.yalemanor.com/rooms-rates.htm

YM is very very close to the site.

The room having the word "Kensington" in it is a nice bonus.

Indubitably!

Yeah, I think I will be less antisocial this year. Although I did find a good pizza place across the lake. They do something on Saturday nights where a bunch of guys bring out their old classic cars, and then they park them, and then people look at them. We should have a block dedicated to ST* cars

Across from the pizza place, there's a big gas station that is a GREAT place to fix Broken WRX's, Right Mechie3? They've got super bright parking lights....plenty of light to see what you're doing at 1am!!! :P

I have a feeling they may not like our little crowd.

Definitely don't be anti-social, I'm sure we'll be having a good time...just don't hang around Simmons too long or you may not be feeling too well the next day.
