Default 06 wrx with Fp18g 7cm

hey guys got my car tuned yesterday at precision with my new setup and made some pretty good numbers

my modlist is
Fp18g 7cm
SSAC Fmic
SPT intake
Invidia v3 catless downpipe
magnaflow angled catback
witchunter modified pinks 864cc's
walbro 255
aem truboost

at 21lbs she made 329whp 352wtq
cleo and i decided it would be a little to crazy to attempt to go higher so in hopes to save my tranny we brought the boost down to 19lbs and made 329whp 323wtq.

she pulls really hard at the top end and i mean all the way to the redline and i'm loving it. the power band is pretty much waiting waiting omfg323rkq2kgjqwlekgjadlskjgasdg

thanks to you guys at precision for doing such a great job.

thanks bro yeah everyone was tellin me that the tdo5 18g was a bad match for the 2.5 liter but in my opinion the ****er hauls some serious ass. and holds really well in the top end. not to mention no boost creep at all with my setup

I am also surprised that you did not creep on a 7cm unported. Nice power for sure. What made you get this over say a 8cm or a 20g

to answer some questions it was tuned on pump 93oct, i def attribute the no boost creep to the divorced wastegate downpipe and the aem tru boost. Let me tell you the tru boost is where its at. smooth consistant boost all the way to the redline no surging or spikes like i had in my previous setup. I chose the 18g over the 20g cause i got a really good deal on it that i couldn't pass up payed 625 for a bnib turbo and i got to pick it up. I recently kicked myself in the ass when i saw a 20g for sale around the same price but honestly i'm really happy with my 18g. I have a few friends with 20g's and it really doesn't feel any powerful then mine. not to mention if i really wanted to i could have gotten alot more out of the turbo. cleo also said if we up'd the boost and played around with it more he could have gotten it around 370whp but he said the tranny prob would have exploded on the dyno. I might take it to the track one night to see what it runs but i'm still afraid of the tranny it was just rebuilt recently but with these new power levels i'm sure it wont last very long. right now i'm waiting on that mfactory pro series gearset. I'm confident with a good launch i could run low 12's or a high 11 but we'll see when the time comes.

Cleo does great work. He takes his time with tuning and does an awsome job. not to mention he tries his damned hardest to get your car the power level you want. Btw he was also the one who recommended me the tru boost because of its ease of use while tuning and consistant boosting capabilities. neway I bought my tru boost off one of the tristate guys for real cheap but your best bet would be to surf ebay you can usually find good deals like these

Nice! Small mod list for some very serious power. I predict some very low 12's with good driving in your future

Looks fun!

Although, you should've kept the 21+ PSI . I run ~22.5 daily on my '06 with a similar setup, and it's torquey as hell.

On Airboys road dyno:

I agree, the 18g on a 2.5L is a great match for a streetable car with a huge powerband. And yes, no boost creep.

yeah like i said i would've cranked the boost up higher if i had the funds to throw in a new gearset but right now i'm broke lol so i had to go conservative but def when i put in the new gearset i'll prob run about 23lbs. and great dyno sheet even know its a road dyno its pretty similar to mine the 18g is def a great combo on these cars.
