Hi, still have that Outback I bought from you - running good with a rebuild engine.

Anyways I would imagine that swapping it at a shop would cost quite a bit (in the 4 figure range), depending if they source the parts - tranny, drive shaft, rear diff, clutch kit, minor electrical work and swapping in a usdm cluster if you wanted.

Personally I would buy the car you wanted in the first place - I believe you could get a clean RS with a stick for around that, but I haven't looked in a while.

Either way, it's a nice car.

I personally couldn't warrant spending that kind of money on a 2.5RS that is 13 years old. Why not buy a bugeye WRX?

That price is a bit optimistic. I think $6000 would be about right. Plus you have to pay for the parts to swap it with a 5sp if you want to go that route.

1991 Isuzu Impulse RS Turbo - $200 (White Center)

Runs and drives, salvage title with 40k origi miles. Reason why it's so cheap and why it only has 40k miles is because the previous owner sold it to me for $500 since he wanted to get rid of it fast because someone had passed away in car from accident couple years back and lately there's a spirit I've been told from him haunting the car which is why no one has driven it for a very long time till I bought it. I only used it couple times and can't deal with this anymore. The car jerks and accelerate's very fast unexpectedly at times when I didn't hit the pedal hard which is creeping me out. It feels twice as fast then what the factory horsepower is post to be, I checked under the hood and it's completely stock and not touched. I have no idea how it's making so much power randomly when it jerks like that. I want it out of my life and am sick of this. I can't sleep at night knowing that cars outside. Buy at your own risk and don't ever bring it back to my house. I just need $200 for air fare cause I am leaving back home. It hasn't been washed since the accident from the previous owner or me. Email as I will be home all day.

hahaha this is awesome

Default Found! Possible donor FXT

Hey everyone, I just wanted to pass this on because it is a great opportunity. I do not own this car, so this is not a for sale thread. I will post the phone number of the owner at the bottom.

I had an incident last night involving a dark island road, a hidden stop sign after a corner, and a ditch. I'm fine but my scoob is pretty beat up. The tow truck driver mentioned to me that he had to pull another subaru out recently, and that he was trying to sell it. Turns out it's an 04 FXT with frame damage. BUT IT RUNS AND DRIVES. He fired it up for me while I was there and it sounded good. So for anyone looking for a donor car it could be a great opportunity.

Pics:

The car is unfortunately an auto, but other than the passenger side frame and interior it's in good shape.

The car is on San Juan Island, WA, in Friday Harbor. It runs and drives but the windshield is toast, so it would probably need a tow.

The owner is Gene, who owns Island Towing. He said he was fine with me giving out his business number, which is 360 - 378 - 7000

Hopefully someone jumps on this!

I think I know the guy that swapped all that in there. Not sure if he owns it or not but he drives a WRX wagon now. But the guy knows his stuff and the swap was very well done! (if this is the same swapped forester)
