WOW guys thanks alot! knew i could count on you guys!!!!

the guy did say he worked at silverline auto as a tech.

test drive was ok but at times it felt like it was going to die when it was idling. the coolant level was very low which made me think it had overheating problems or something. he told me he had the car painted by his friend but when you get up close to the car you can tell the paint job is horrible like they cut every corner to get it painted and sold. I know because I have been around that long enough ( dad being a paint tech and all). anyway i got under the car and there was like a string holding on the front bumper and the lip.......I would also say stay away from this car.

I bought an 07 sti from them with a "clean" title. But it was far from it. Carfax said it was clean 1 owner with 29k on the odo but 2 weeks after I got it. Turns out they swapped the original motor for a fxt motor. For no apparent reason. That's why

Not the same. 255 vs a 257. Why would Carfax pay for it? I know the have a bs guarantee, but this is clearly Silverline's screw up. Wouldn't you want the engine that's supposed to be n the car to be there?

Depends on the year fxt. Even the early fxt engine was called a 255, but it was internally identical.
If the heads are b25, the engine is identical.

I got a 2002 wrx for sale. Its got an issue with the tranny and it wont shift. Its an internal issue I know that. So it wont be able to drive. Its got 103k on it and had timing belt and maintenance at 85k.
The car has some aftermarket stuff including,
Tien lowering springs and tien strut bars.
Boost guage and Turbo timer
Turbo has been clipped spools nice.
Invidia down pipe and full 3in exhaust back.

I'm sure there is a couple other things but I can tell u more if interested. I am motivated to sell don't need the car getting ruined all winter outside. Texting works best for me.. 360-67o-6698

WTF? 38k for a 2011 sti sedan with 27,000 miles on it. Wow. Looks to have a perrin front mount, but still. Love the Subaru resale value when selling, hate it when buying.
