will it fit? sti v4 and 02 wrx parts

i have a wrx engine with a bad piston like some of you might have read. i found a v4 sti block with good pistons but the crank needs polished. my 02 wrx crank and rods are perfect. can i put my crank and rods with his pistons and block. and will the rest of my top end bolt on correctly? both are 2.0 i have my fingers crossed help me out. thanx

not without machining .. he thrust bearing is different

what kind of rod bearings should i get for it? is there anything special about the sti crank shaft? is it interchangable with any others?
