09 Wrx Vs. 09 Leggy Gt

i have been thinking about getting another suby... i previously owned a 02 bugeye and im debating between 09 wrx or 09 leggy GT. i really like the body of the leggy better than the new wrx... but the wrx is still a wrx. =) althouhg i am not really feeling the new wrx's... or the STi, really for that matter just cuz of the body... hmmmm choices.....

Get the leggy! But then again, I drove a 2009 5 door a couple of months ago and it was really fun. The looks are not the greatest, but the performance was neat as hell.

most people who had wrx's/sti's that trade in and get a LGT never regret the decision. I know that theres a red 2010 Legacy at Power (pics to come soon).

Agreed with Barry. It really depends on what you want to do with the car. The WRX is faster, but the LGT is more "adult." The Spec B's are sick.

ohhh and if your looking for a deal on a new or used car i can steer u in the right direction. I know a couple of Subaru managers that are/are still in the business. All piks are taken @ Power Subaru.

I regret going from an 04' STi to an 08' specB on a daily basis. I threw 2k worth of suspension on the specB, and although it handled great, there was no getting around the fact that you were driving a 3500lbs car. Felt the weight through every "spirited" corner. The car was just too nice to strip down.

I must now always own an engaging drivers car. I guess I'll never grow up

so your saying that it wasnt more grown up? refined? one cant have their cake and eat it too. there are sacrifices to be made.

maybe u shoulda done some performance mods in conjunction with your suspension mods.

no.........I'm saying maybe it was too grown up and refined for me personally.

There was enough power stock, just not entertaining enough to drive. Again, for me personally.

yeah.. i know what u all are saying about it depends on what i will use it for... and to answer your question... all i am looking for a something that looks clean with good street performance. not necessarily going to the track with it or anything.. so thats why i was considering the leggy... because it fits that description the most... and plus... i think if i am driving a leggy.. i dont think i will bang on it as much as i did with my WRX... lol... thats another reason for the leggy.... so... as much as i am looking for a clean, simple, performance ready car... i know i will miss placing my a$$ in the bucket of a WRX...

but we'll see... i have to think of what i really want... or if i wanna keep my super comfortable and gas friendly toyota solara.

Went from a '06 STI to an '08 specB depending on my mood I either miss the STI or am glad I got the specB. I vote for the Legacy... I get more complements on my specB then I ever did with my STI

I just picked up an 09 WRX and I am in love with it. I had two STI's in the past and considered a spec B because it was bigger inside. When I test drove the 09 the size was perfect. SO I would say test both and see which fits you better. I found that the bigger the car, the less you feel a part of it. If that makes any sense.
