Default uel header question

hey this might have been asked before
but im not quite sure what to search, if i was to get borla uel headers, could u keep all the rest of the stock piping with my axleback and just run it like that or is the piping directions and lengths different since the new headers on there?

the borla replica's I got off ebay mated right up to my stock exhaust. I don't think you should expect any issues.

UEL's are direct bolt on for your 05 impreza, however, you won't get the max benefit of the UEL's, primarily the boxer rumble unless you have an aftermarket catback or CBE.

You can get away with just a muffler, too.

Wouldn't just a muffler defeat the whole purpose? Unless you only want the rumble for looks/sound, and no performance gains. I guess it'd be cheaper.

Nah, the headers are the most "restrictive" thing in the exhaust. The cat only becomes a restriction if you have cams or something similar done to your engine.
