Same as above but worded a little differently.

You could turn in earlier on the slaloms. That will help you hit the back side of the cones (instead of just miss the upcoming cone)

You also seem to be late on the gas coming up to some of the straighter sections. Looking ahead will remind you that you can put the hammer down.

you can push harder than that. let those tires squeal a bit
slap that diff all the way back!

or that's just my rally side.

Actually I would love some constructive criticism.

The audio quality on the camera sucks so you can really only hear me at WOT.

For a large sweeper I know I need to control the turn by gas and keep the steering wheel input constant. For a tight turn though, would I "create" more understeer if I accelerate too hard/early during a turn since by hitting the gas the front end becomes lighter? Or should I touch the gas at all?

And yes, I definitely wasn't looking ahead far enough to anticipate what is coming. And still need a lot of work going around the slaloms better.

What kind of tires were you running? They were very quiet... and yet you were going very quick and smooth

Im running RE070s, and I think the only reason they seem quiet is the audio quality of the video. You can barely hear anything below me at WOT. I dont really think Im that smooth which is why I posted up the videos but thank you for the compliments

Looks like you were coasting in places. Instead of letting off the throttle and coasting, you should be staying on the throttle longer and braking hard.

I know it was wet, but you would benefit by being smoother with steering inputs. Also, you need to be setting up for the backsides of the cones in the slaloms. Nice launch, though.

Dammit. I'm winning worst camera of the thread, followed closely by worst tire gauge in grid, but not to be out done by most painful 5 point harness ever.

Crappy equipment makes you drive faster. These are the fastest clean runs I had from the Lincoln Pro recently and they are not without mistakes.

Heh.. first time out with the STI. Was a charity event, so no points were at stake. I, obviously, left a lot of time out on the course by either being too far from the cones (still learning the width of this thing) or going too fast into the slow sections.

NWS language in the audio.
I threw in the music because it's basically nothing but rattle from the HeroCam otherwise.

Yes, let's merge it with a long thread that is 3 years old with a bunch of broken links, so that no actual video will be viewed. I vote we keep this thread

just being a tard :P
