hmmm... nitrous is cool when used in safe amounts like a 65 shot. NOS is a brand of nitrous kit but i think the most recomended one is the venom kit (don't remember the model though).

I typed in NOS in the search section and came up with 72 Pages of Posts (not just posts) worth of nitrous information.

FWIW NOS is a company called Nitrous Oxide Systems, Nitrous is what you want to learn about...not NOS...learning a companies business stratagies will not make your car faster. I have used both Zex kit's and NOS kits. Both are very nice kits but as for simplicity i think NOS win's the deal....personally i'f i was doing it i'd get the intercooler sprayer and maybe run a 40 shot to help spin the turbo up a lil faster...just gotta make sure you have hte fuel there.

Thumbs up

You should get this book! Yes it has a lot of NOS products in there, but also some good info. The book isn't the best written book out there. It repeats a lot of info through out the whole thing. Which can be a good thing. Plus, it will save you the flames and misinformation you might get here. I'm not saying everyone here will do that.

Go with ZEX for ease of installation. As long as you know where everything goes, your grandma can install this kit.

ok for you nitrous freaks out there. have you guys heard of a company called TNT (texas nitrous technology). basically there systems have a mechanism where, when you turn on the nitrous, nitrous activates at 3000rpm, and turns if off at 5900rpm for engine protection. what do you guys think of that? and does zen and NOS systems or other popular systems have this mechanisM? i think thats' a cool idea, what do you guys think?

i don't know if it came with the kit, but a friend of mine's venom has a little ecu that you can program, lots of different options. his is set so you get more nitrous as you press the petal harder, as opposed to instantly on/off. it can do about anything you can dream up, pretty cool little thing.

i think MSD has made that unit for about 15 years now...and you can change the pills in that to take advantage of higher redlines.
