Legend has it, He helps stabilize the rear end of your car by leaning the opposite way from your turn. Sorta like a sidecar racer and counterweight. Makes your car handle soooo much better.

well, I left him in the car overnight, and somehow he managed to unbuckle the belt with with his stubby arms. his immeasurable girth must generate a gravitational field he can control. he instinctually migrated to the luggage rack in the hatch and pulled out the cover to keep warm.
